Cloud-based<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s a versatile cloud-based programme that can help with everything from creating mood boards to planning projects to collaborating with a team. With unlimited cloud storage, you don\u2019t have to worry about files taking up valuable storage space, and you can access your content from anywhere in the world!<\/p>\n

There are desktop versions for Mac and PC, but you can also use them in a browser or phone. With the mobile app, you can see the whole canvas (in a single scrolling column) and add additional items to your boards. These items then show up on the desktop under Quick Notes, ready for you to decide where to place them on the board!<\/p>\n

Team collaboration<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Another huge advantage of doing everything entirely online is it allows you to collaborate with other creators. With Milanote, you can have multiple users working on the same boards simultaneously. There are handy, easy to use tools that help make collaboration a breeze, including:<\/p>\n

  • Comments<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Adding a comment shows who made a comment and when and allows others to reply<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Emojis<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Emojis are displayed on the front of an asset to show how users react, and you can see which user left which emoji<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Draw <\/span><\/strong>\u2013 You can easily annotate the board using objects like arrows or circles, which you can move or delete when no longer needed<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Sketch <\/span><\/strong>\u2013 You can create a sketch (changing the thickness and color of the lines) to move around and amend as necessary<\/span><\/li>\n

    Share publicly<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Besides collaborating with other editors, you can also publicly share boards with anyone by sharing the link. Anyone with the link can then view all the up-to-date assets (the board will continuously sync with the latest version). If the user creates an account, they can also comment and add emojis<\/p>\n

    Unlimited space<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

    One of the best features is the infinite canvas which allows you to add content without running out of space. The free version of Milanote <\/a>does have a limitation in that you can only add 100 items, so if you want to add more than this, you will need to sign up for a monthly or annual payment plan<\/p>\n

    Organisation<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Milanote<\/a> organises everything on boards with handy board templates to choose from, which can help you find inspiration, especially when you are starting out.<\/p>\n

  • Notes offer some cool options. You can duplicate them while keeping them in sync, so if you change anything on any of the copies, the same change immediately replicates on all the copies<\/span><\/li>\n
  • A handy feature to help with writing, formatting, and reading larger amounts of text is being able to convert them into a document. You can then also individually export them (in addition to exporting entire boards into various formats)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Simple tools allow you to distribute and align elements on your board quickly and neatly. You can also connect items, so the link is clear no matter where you move the items on the board<\/span><\/li>\n
