I actually took Martin's InDesign Masterclass course several years ago when I started working in communications, and I came out of it with the ability to be extremely efficient with one of my recurring tasks (monthly PDF newsletter). When the opportunity for professional development came up at work this year, I decided to go back to Martin's courses after having tried to up-skill other Adobe software using our company's Pluralsight subscription and not being too happy with the results. I was so glad to find out that Yes I'm a Designer now offers Premiere Pro and After Effects courses along with Illustrator and Photoshop, which made the monthly subscription a better sell for me at work (when I took InDesign, I only signed up for that course instead of going with the subscription, since there were much fewer courses back in the day). I just finished the Illustrator Masterclass and am working my way through Photoshop, and I can recommend the Masterclasses even for people who already use the software regularly but were initially self taught, so perhaps didn't know all the tips and tricks that can end up saving a ton of time on a project and make the tasks more fun. Obviously, if you're a beginner (like I was with InDesign back in the day), these courses are also perfect.

I was an animator with basic graphic design knowledge looking to start a career in graphic design. When I received my first Graphic Design job offer, I knew I had to brush up on the software in order to keep up with job demands. These courses taught me everything I needed to know in a clear, succinct manner and went beyond my expectations with its assignments and feedback. I love that courses and assignments are updated with new information, making me feel like I'm getting more than what I pay for. I owe my success to these courses and recommend anyone to try them out!

Hello (Ciao !) I have taken many online courses from Udemy to Domestika from Lynda to Plurasight but I find your courses to be the first. Everything is explained in a simple way. Martin is great ! and his voice guides the student in an excellent way; the voice of the teacher in online course is very important as well as the examples provided during the lesson. Everything is really well done!

Martin is a fantastic teacher. I have been using Illustrator for 25 years, but often felt that I didn't know it particularly deeply, and wasn't using it as efficiently or fully as I'd like. I learned so much from the Illustrator Masterclass - part of a large collection of courses included in the subscription - and immediately started working better and more confidently as a result. I feel like I know the software much better and was surprised to discover whole tools and techniques that I didn't previously know existed. The course has inspired me and made me excited to create again. I'm looking forward to exploring the course library further.

When I started these courses 5 months ago, I had no experience in graphics but thanks to Martin’s lessons and his advice, I've really learnt a lot. Each course is well organised and clearly explained and this has definitely given me confidence of developing the skills I needed. The Yes I'm a Designer program is a MUST for designers looking to up-level their skills. The courses are broken down into bite-sized videos that are super easy to follow and Martin shares all kinds of cool tips along the way. I would definitely recommend these courses to anyone who's either looking to become a designer or a designer who's looking to up their game in a competitive industry.

As an educator, I watch and review many educational videos and programs. The Yes, I’m a Designer series has been one of the best, so far. It is, pedagogically, well-organized and presented. I have been working in Illustrator for quite some time and considered myself proficient. I realized I was barely scratching the surface. The presenter showed me so much more of the program and at a much deeper, yet simpler level. The amount of content makes this the best value out there. I highly recommend this for beginners and intermediate users.

I give you five stars for your exceptional work in teaching. It would be more beneficial if your education in videos has closed captioning for deaf individuals like me. Thank you so much for teaching us how to create incredible graphic designs! I enjoy it tremendously.

The Master Courses are awesome! The Teacher (Martin Perhiniak) is the professionalist, explains every detail calmly and clearly, with a lot of examples. It’s a real pleasure and fun to learn from you!
